Lyrical dance is an expressive form that encourages the student to tell the story of the song through movement.  Lyrical dance is poetic with sometimes subtle and sometimes dynamic movements. 

Lyrical dance is often choreographed to a song about freedom, sadness or overcoming obstacles.  Lyrical dance tends to be unpredictable, making it enjoyable to learn and portray.
