Tap dancing actually teaches the student to be a percussive musician. The lively, rhythmic tapping allows them to explore an infinite number of rhythms and sounds.
Our tap program offers a variety of styles from the vaudeville era to the funky new hip-hop style of tap.
We also offer exams in tap through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D), which is recognized around the world. Exams for tap start at the age of six and continue through to the teaching qualification level.
